[ LOOK HE'S NOT ACTUALLY OFFENDED. sometimes you just don't want to eat anything, because you're sick or stressed or you fucking can't taste anything anymore because your head is too full of a billion other lifetimes. it's cool, he's just glad Yael managed to get down a decent amount.

popping the last of his own pancakes in his mouth and snagging both plates to wash them off, humming under his breath ]
